Something about Sam being the one to bring Eileen back just doesn’t work for me, like…

Sam said he wouldn’t bring Dean back after he died. I know it’s not exactly the same thing, but Eileen was dead and she should stay dead. Why would Sam think it’s a good idea to try the spell? When Rowena spoke of the spell it was something almost taboo. Yet it seemed so easy and simple. It’s hard to believe that spell really was a one time deal. No fireworks, no earthquakes, no big deal.

Bringing someone back used to come with a cost. I really hope it won’t be this easy. If it was Kripke or Gamble, I know it wouldn’t be, but with this one, who knows. Each episode is its own set of canon.

It was too easy. A cool tub of water, a few herbs, some Latin and BAM naked hunter is back.

Remember Sam and Bobby trying to figure out how to get Dean out of his deal?
ALL the broken seals to get Lucifer out of his cage?

Back in Kripke and Gamble’s day, doing dark magic had a huge cost, now it’s as harmless as going to the supermarket.

@nancylou444 Don’t forget beck when Dean had the MoC he told Sam in no uncertain terms he was NOT to do anything magical to get the mark off him. He even went so far as to tell Sam to burn the Book Of The Damned. He said dark magic that powerful always comes with a price. And he wasn’t about to mess with something so big that it removed the mark.

AND

Rowena saying spells and magic were difficult, you had to be very careful to get everything exactly right. When Sam tried to rush her she said “I suppose you’ve spent centuries studying the art of high witchcraft?”

Not now!

Now it’s Calgon take me away and pooof! Back from the dead.

Yes, now we have Hunting for Dummies and YOU can be a witch with 5 easy lessons

Well, you can’t expect those writers writing complex plots, them and Singer plus Dabb are well known for being morons, so…. We get cheap bullshit

Break a prop? Just put it back and walk away… ha ha!!

Emma’s reaction though

Sometimes it freaks me out how much like their characters they are. Emma’s very concerned, Dan saves the day, Rupert laughs.

I’m never not reblogging this. They’re just so damn cute…

Sometimes there’s a reason you can’t see until you take a step back and think about it. Other times, it’s just a down time that will pass by itself! I hope you get past your tired times and don’t beat yourself up about how you feel.

My favorite thing about “Ok Boomer” is that, instead of arguing, the youth unconsiously and collectively decided to literally just verbally wave boomers off and treat them like children who won’t shut up and i think that’s beautiful

As much as I love memes like this, these photos always leave me in a conundrum where yes, a lot of erasure of queer people has taken place throughout history. Undoubtedly.

But these pictures or historical accounts often also just depict a time where same-gender affection, notably between men, was just more normal. Kissing your buddy on the mouth was normal. Men proclaiming platonic love for each other was normal.

And as much as I hate the queer erasure in history, I equally hate how modernity killed the normalcy of unabashed platonic affection

do you think these people understand that the sexualization of perfectly healthy platonic affection, and the resulting reduction in these behaviors, is why men are killing themselves at such incredible rates?

I mean, that’s true and all

But there is tongue action going on in that picture, y’all. And I dunno about you, but I’ve never french kissed anyone I didn’t intend to bang.
